The prototype for the entire Light/Wily labs effort to emulate humanity using robots, Blues fled his creators because he didn't like the idea of them deciding his personality for him. Overcome by the need to find himself, Blues nonetheless represents a major loss to the L/W Labs' assets, and great pains have been taken to get him back.

Blues is characterized by his fierce independence - often putting himself at great risk to maintain this fact. He was designed as a master-type counterpart to the "Sniper Joe" series of police robots, and therefore comes fully equipped with a military-grade plasma rifle and riot shield. He also has a number of combat protocols fully loaded, making him extremely effective as a team player - ironically, he would go to great lengths NOT to be on any team. Supplementing these are the experimental "Logic grid" and "Emotional Matrix," designed to work in tandem to allow him to work outside of his normal protocols.

Blues' outer shell, like all of the robot masters, is virtually impenetrable to small arms fire. He is also highly resistant to conventional energy weapons, though explosives and high-output plasma devices could easily penetrate his body. His riot shield, however, is made of a derivative of MET plating, and is therefore impervious to all but the highest grade weaponry. His limbs are powered by basic servo motors, each capable of lifting half of a metric ton by itself, which would give Blues extreme strength, but his micro fusion core doesn't generate nearly enough power for this, so he is only slightly stronger than a well-muscled human. On a side note, his core is missing a critical component and, given just over year at normal output, is doomed to failure. Not to mention his compromised EXIT unit!
